Chairman KEF Pakistan Visit To UK

The Kashmir Education Foundation - United Kingdom (KEF-UK) was registered as a charity in the United Kingdom on 5th September 2000 with a separate Board of Trustees, with Mr. Mussadhik Hussain from Bradford as its chairman. The Chairman of KEF, Maj. Gen. (Retd.) M. Rahim Khan, paid a visit to the United Kingdom between 17th May and 11th June 2001. He inaugurated the beautiful designated office of KEF-UK in Bradford, generously donated and equipped by Mr. Mussadhik Hussain.

The Chairman also visited London, Luton, Bradford, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow to attend various functions organized by KEF-UK. He appeared on radio, TV and gave press interviews to raise awareness and support for KEF. The visit was a great success. Ten core groups of volunteers were organized in various cities in support of KEF objectives. The United Kingdom trustees are confident of raising enough funds to set up a second Kashmir Education Foundation school on the rural outskirts of Rawalpindi.
